Diaspora Expert Ms. Akriti Subedi from Germany joined Satvik Nepal for three months and worked in developing standard operating procedure (SOP) for Screening Antimicrobial Activities of Medicinal Plants Against Human Pathogenic Bacteria. 


Two days HPLC workshop in Pokhara University

Satvik Nepal organized two days HPLC workshop in Pokhara University. Master's students and faculty of Pokhara University were participated in the workshop. Dr. Dhakaram Bhandari, Dr. Amrit Poudel and Dr. Damodar Koirala were resource persons conducting the workshop. Students got themselves involved in operating the instrument.

     


Satvik Nepal signs MOU with Directorate of Research and Extension (DOREX), Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU)

Satvik Nepal has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Directorate of Research and Extension (DOREX), Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU), Chitwan, Nepal. This MOU will help to establish a research cooperation between these two institutions. The objectives of MOU between Satvik Nepal and DOREX is to do collaborative research, links in training and research exchange activities, students and researchers exchange activities, to conduct collaborative seminar, symposia and to exchange scientific information and publications.


Satvik Nepal signs MOU with Jeonnam Institute of Natural Resources to collaborate in educational and research ventures between two countries

Satvik Nepal has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Jeonnam Institute of Natural Resources (JINR) South Korea on the occasion of two days scientific program “International Symposium on Himalayan Biodiversity and Bioresources” on Feburary 14 and 15, 2018. At the event President of Satvik Nepal Mr. Hari Prasad Lamichhane and Director of JINR Dr. Seon Rack Seong exchanged the signed copy of MOUs and stated that the MOU would be a milestone between the two organizations in the field of research and education. The objectives of MOU between Satvik Nepal and JINR is to build individual contacts among researchers, links in training, research and cultural exchange activities along with invitation to scholars participate in conferences, colloquia and symposia and positively contributing to the research and development in Nepal.

    

 


Museum of Natural Drug Resources of Nepal

"Museum of Natural Drug Resources of Nepal" is a project started by a collaborative effort of Panchamrit Resarch Center and Satvik Nepal. The aim of this project is development of a museum of natural drug of Nepal. A database of herbs is being prepared. Collection of herb and preservation of plant specimen along with herbarium has been carried out.
